Cargo ship catches fire at port in eastern China

At least 25 people died in a fire that broke out on Thursday on a cargo ship docked at the port of Qingdao, in Shandong province, in eastern China. On board the Ocean Melody, which flies the Liberian flag, were 42 people. According to Chinese state television CCTV, 17 people were removed from the ship and five were hospitalized.

PJ investigates stabbing death of man in Olhão

The Judicial Police is investigating the death of a 43-year-old man who was stabbed inside a house in Olhão, in the Algarve. Another man, aged 50, was left in serious condition following the attacks.
