The 32nd edition of the Industrial and Commercial Fair of Tondela (FICTON) started this year with a special program that combines the official opening ceremony with a tribute to the two fire brigades of the municipality. The opening night also included an aerial show called "Flying Through Time," which simultaneously marked the beginning of the Municipal Festivities.
The event celebrates this year the 50 years of ACERT (Association for the Development of the Tondela Region), the organizing entity of the fair. This anniversary gives the edition a particularly special character, uniting the commercial and industrial tradition of the region with a celebration program that includes various activities.
The tribute to firefighters comes as recognition for the work developed by the local brigades over the years, highlighting the role of these entities in the protection of the community. The show "Flying Through Time" provided an entertainment moment for the audience present, fitting into the festive programming that continues over the following days.
