Vauti bets on technology and special care to transform weight loss

oglobo10 September 2026 at 13:34

The growing demand for weight control treatments has been driving new care models in the healthcare sector. In this scenario, Vauti Saúde is betting on the combination of technology, medicine, and individualized monitoring to structure a weight loss journey carried out remotely, ranging from initial assessment to support during treatment.

In recent years, medications based on semaglutide and tirzepatide have gained ground in obesity treatment and become popularly known as "pens." These substances are administered subcutaneously and act on mechanisms related to satiety and appetite regulation, showing significant weight reduction results in clinical studies.

Tirzepatide has stood out for the results observed in recent research, while semaglutide has become established among the therapies used for managing excess weight. However, the use of these medications depends on medical indication, and the choice of therapy, doses, and continuation of treatment must be defined by health professionals.

Goodbye walks: a funicular will be inaugurated on this date that will give you a 'lift' to this beach without having to walk kilometers on foot

The Pederneira Funicular, in Nazaré, should open in January 2027, creating a public transport connection between the upper area and the beach. With about 200 meters in length and an investment of 10 million euros fully funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the equipment will have the capacity to transport up to 300 people per hour in each direction, with capacity for 40 passengers per trip. The works are practically completed, but tests and certifications need to be completed by the end of the year. The project includes accessibility for people with reduced mobility and bicycle transport, aiming to reduce automobile dependence and greenhouse gas emissions. The four-story building will have glass openings and lighting that will evoke the image of a lighthouse at night.
