The municipality of Peso da Régua reinforced the school transport fleet with the acquisition of six new electric buses. According to the municipality, the new vehicles aim to guarantee better transport conditions, comfort, and safety for the children and young people of the municipality.
The total investment was approximately one million, nine hundred and ninety-one thousand, nine hundred euros. The financing was one million, two hundred thousand, six hundred euros, obtained within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, through the Environmental Fund, with the financial support of the European Union.
This acquisition represents the municipality's commitment to more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility. The municipality states that this measure contributes to a more modern, efficient municipality prepared for the future.
