JPP criticizes Funchal City Council for lack of response to basic problems

The party Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP) criticized this Thursday the Funchal City Council for considering that the executive has not addressed the city's basic problems. The position was taken by councilors António Trindade and Fátima Aveiro during the council meeting.

According to JPP, concrete examples of negligence and complete lack of solutions to solve problems affecting citizens were presented. Among the failures pointed out are garbage collection, urban hygiene, and maintenance of public spaces.

The party also criticized the situation of pavements, public lighting, and road signage, considering that these basic problems are not being adequately addressed by the municipality of Funchal.
