Apple announced its entry into the foldable phone market with the new iPhone Duo, which arrives in Portugal this year. This is the brand's first attempt to compete in a segment that has been dominated by other brands like Samsung and Huawei.
The iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch flexible display and is equipped with the A20 Pro processor, the most powerful the company has produced to date. The device is also compatible with Apple Pencil, allowing users to take advantage of drawing and handwriting features.
This launch represents Apple's response to the growing consumer interest in devices with foldable screens, which combine the portability of a smartphone with the visual experience of a tablet. The company thus arrives late to an already established market, but promises to integrate this technology with the brand's own ecosystem.
