A first alert dispatch was issued for a wildfire in the municipalities of Faro and Albufeira, more specifically in the area of Albufeira and Olhos de Água. The alert indicates that the situation is still in an early phase, with no larger-scale firefighting resources having been deployed yet.
For now, five operatives and one ground vehicle are on the ground fighting the flames. No air resources were deployed for this incident.
