The Municipality of Terras de Bouro will launch a mobile library starting in October, with the objective of promoting literacy and bringing access to reading closer to the entire population of the municipality.
The mobile service will be installed in a vehicle specifically adapted for this purpose and will travel through all localities of the territory.
The local authority of Terras de Bouro announced this initiative, intending to reach areas of the council that usually have difficulties in accessing libraries and cultural services. The project aims to combat the geographical barriers that limit residents of more remote areas in the Cávado region, in the Braga district.
