This weekend, Vila Cova à Coelheira hosts the 10th edition of the Bread Festival and the 41st edition of the Folklore Festival. The two events take place simultaneously, combining gastronomy and traditional Portuguese music.
The Bread Festival promises to bring freshly baked bread from the region's ovens, celebrating the local baking tradition. During the event, visitors can enjoy and purchase freshly produced artisanal bread.
Regarding the musical lineup of the Folklore Festival, the performances of Quim Roscas and Zeca Estacionâncio stand out, as well as Jorge Guerreiro. These artists are well-known figures in the Portuguese traditional and folk music scene.
Vila Cova à Coelheira thus hosts one of the most important events in the region, which over more than four decades has been dedicated to preserving and promoting local cultural and gastronomic traditions.
