The City Council of Caminha decided, just a few days before the start of the school year, to change the planned solution to accommodate the children from the Kindergarten and 1st year of the Basic School of Caminha, which will undergo renovations.
Instead of the Convent of Santo António, in Caminha, the students will temporarily stay at the Centro de Vilar de Mouros.
The Mayor of Caminha stated that parents were 'very pleased' with this alternative solution.
The change was communicated just a few days before the start of the school year, after the municipality reviewed the initial plan for accommodating the students.
