New APF Algarve space in Faro hosts community support services

Barlavento10 September 2026 at 11:54

The Association for Family Planning of the Algarve inaugurated a new space in Faro to host community support services. This new infrastructure allows the association to expand its activities in the region.

APF Algarve works in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, providing support and information to the population. The association is also dedicated to supporting victims of human trafficking, offering follow-up and resources to those in need.

In addition to these areas of intervention, the organization is involved in harm reduction actions, seeking to minimize the damages associated with risky behaviors. The new space in Faro strengthens the association's capacity to reach more people in the Algarve community.
