Partial resumption of traffic on IC1 in Ourique after road collision

Road traffic on IC1, in the Ourique area, was partially resumed around 09:40, after having been interrupted since 06:16 due to a collision between a truck and a light goods vehicle. Traffic is flowing alternately due to cleaning and removal work of the heavy vehicle.

The accident occurred at kilometre 672.4 of the IC1, between Ourique and the locality of Aldeia de Palhais. The collision resulted in two injured, one seriously and one slightly, who were taken to Beja Hospital.

At the scene of the rescue operations, 18 operatives were involved, with the support of eight vehicles, according to information provided by the Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) to the Lus news agency.

Arrested for possession of prohibited weapons

MP-RJ denounces thirteen people involved in the death of a cyclist in Copacabana

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Rio de Janeiro denounced thirteen people involved in the death of cyclist Cláudio Rafael Landeiro, who was killed in the early morning of August 12 in Copacabana after being falsely accused of stealing a bicycle that belonged to his sister.
