Sancidino Silva, a former player who came through Benfica's youth system and was once considered one of the most promising prospects of Seixal, is heading to Lebanon's second division to continue his football career.
The Portuguese player is from the same generation as Bernardo Silva and João Cancelo, having grown up and developed his skills at Seixal, Benfica's training center responsible for producing several high-quality players.
Despite the potential he showed during his youth development, Sancidino Silva failed to establish himself at the highest level and will now try to relaunch his career in a less publicized league, by transferring to Lebanon.
This move represents a reverse trajectory compared to other players from the same generation, such as Bernardo Silva and João Cancelo, who achieved international success at the highest level of European football.
