The suicide prevention hotline 1411 received more than 25 thousand calls in its first year of operation, which began on September 10, 2025. Among these calls, almost 700 were classified as imminent risk situations, indicating people in a state of severe vulnerability.
The predominant profile among hotline users were women and young people aged between 18 and 29 years, who represented the majority of calls received during this period.
The service demonstrates the growing demand for psychological support and suicide prevention channels, with a significant volume of situations that required immediate intervention due to the level of risk identified during the calls.
