The Madeirense Voluntary Firefighters were called this morning, at 8 o'clock, to intervene in a flooding in a building located on Rua dos Aranhas, in Funchal. The situation was caused by the burst of a machine pipe, which led to water entering the building. The water spread from the first floor to the ground floor, affecting several areas of the property. The presence of water near the building's electrical installation prompted the request for the Municipal Civil Protection Service to the location.
