Many INSS beneficiaries have questions about the deadline to withdraw their benefits. After the deposit of the due amount, the beneficiary has 60 days to make the withdrawal of the monthly payment. If this deadline is not met, the amount is returned by the bank to the institute.
This measure aims to avoid improper payments and fraud in the system. The return of the amount to INSS occurs automatically when the beneficiary does not make the withdrawal within the established deadline.
However, if the benefit is not withdrawn within 60 days, the beneficiary can still request payment. To do this, simply access the service "Request Issuance of Unreceived Payment" through the website or Meu INSS app.
Another option is to contact the telephone center 135, which operates Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm, to request the unreceived payment.
