US forces carried out on Wednesday an attack against a speedboat that, according to intelligence information cited by Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), was actively participating in drug trafficking operations in the Caribbean, leaving a balance of three people dead.
The operation was carried out by US forces against the suspected vessel involved in drug trafficking in the Caribbean region, an area frequently used for the illegal transport of drugs.
Southern Command, responsible for US military operations in Latin America and the Caribbean, provided the intelligence information that led to the attack against the vessel.
The incident resulted in three confirmed deaths at the time of publication of the news.
