The Lisbon City Council decided to submit the new draft Waste Management, Cleaning and Urban Hygiene Regulation of Lisbon to public consultation. The decision was made at a private meeting of the municipal executive.
The regulation will be submitted for public consultation for a period of 30 working days, after which it will proceed for approval by the Lisbon Municipal Assembly.
The proposal was approved with votes against from Livre, BE, PCP and Chega, while PS chose to abstain, according to a source from the council contacted by the Luther news agency.
