The first weekend of Rock in Rio has come to an end, and the audience at the City of Rock, in the Southwest Zone of Rio, can now reflect on the performances that took place. Artists such as Elton John, Gilberto Gil, Foo Fighters, Bring Me the Horizon, and Roupa Nova starred in some of the most praised presentations of the event.

Thinking about what each person's dream festival would be like, GLOBO created the interactive game "Meu Rock in Rio dos Sonhos," in which the reader takes on the role of event producer.

From a list with 500 shows from the past already registered and another 56 performances that take place on the Mundo and Sunset stages this year, users can have fun building the line-up for a single day or creating an entire festival week.

With this interactive tool, readers can explore different combinations of artists and discover what their ideal Rock in Rio would be like, whether with names from the past or current attractions.

"To have more women in concertinas, there need to be fewer men who think they're the greatest"

Margarida Pereira, a 15-year-old from Vieira do Minho, participated for the first time in the concertina parade at the Feiras Novas in Ponte de Lima, being one of the few women among hundreds of players. In an interview, she said the field remains dominated by men and left a provocation: to have more women in the instrument, there need to be fewer men who think they're the greatest. The young woman started playing about three years ago, inspired by her uncle, and now practices about an hour and a half a day, saying that playing concertina is the only thing she really likes to do. Margarida said that seeing so many young people her age playing is a sign that traditions are valued and won't be lost easily.
