Rio Art Week takes place this week, from September 10 to 16, with the highlight being the official opening marked by a free show by Diogo Nogueira at Arcos da Lapa. The event also features Cachaça Day and the return of the Yabás Fair to the Oswaldo Cruz region.
This year's edition of CasaCor Rio marks its 35th anniversary with a significant shift — the exhibition will be held in the city center for the first time. Starting Tuesday, the show takes over the Edifício Aliança da Bahia, a modernist building located in front of the Palácio Capanema that has just undergone a retrofit process.
Across the six floors of the building, in addition to the ground floor and rooftop, 45 spaces were created to showcase different ways of living. The exhibition also includes exhibitions, artistic interventions, gastronomy options and communal spaces.
