The FAGIC - Handicraft, Gastronomy, Industry and Commerce Fair of Taveiro opens today to the public at 7:00 PM. This is another edition of this event that aims to promote local businesses and the community.

The fair is open to all interested parties, serving as a meeting point between producers, traders and the general public. The event takes place in Taveiro and aims to boost the local economy through the enhancement of handicrafts, gastronomy, industry and commerce in the region.

Cello Festival À Corda returns to Coimbra with nine proposals and historical instruments

The sixth edition of the Festival de Violoncelo à Corda takes place from September 20 to 27 in Coimbra, with nine proposals that combine music, heritage, training and historical instruments, including the Joanina Library, Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Nova, Sé Velha and Convento São Francisco. The festival features international performers, Portuguese musicians and young talents, highlighting the screening of the documentary "Where Music Grows" and the concert "O Legado de Suggia" with Guilhermina Suggia's Montagnana cello. The closing is by the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra with "The Return of Don Quixote" by Richard Strauss, using Friedrich Grützmacher's cello. Six proposals are free and the others cost between 10 and 25 euros, with a total investment of approximately 100 thousand euros.
