Singer Anitta will face a logistics challenge on January 31st, when she will have to reconcile a performance in São Paulo with the technical rehearsal of Grande Rio in Rio de Janeiro. On this occasion, the artist will make her debut as the school's drum corps queen for the first time, participating in the school's only technical rehearsal before the official parade, scheduled for February 9th, on Carnival Tuesday.
On the same day, Anitta will perform the last show of her carnival tour in São Paulo, at Pacaembu Stadium, which is approximately 434 kilometers from the Rio Sambadrome. The stadium gates in the capital city of São Paulo open at noon, while the rehearsal of the Special Group schools is scheduled to start at 7 PM.
Grande Rio will be the second school to hold its technical rehearsal, after Viradouro, with the traditional washing of the Sapucaí scheduled for 6 PM. Considering the delays that usually occur during this testing phase, the school could enter the Avenue at an even later time, which could make the singer's participation more difficult if any unforeseen event occurs during the São Paulo performance.
