From debut cruise line to robots serving drinks, the novelties of the Brazilian 2026/2027 cruise season

The 2026/2027 Brazilian cruise season is scheduled to take place between October 23 and April 9, bringing several novelties that hadn't been seen in a long time in the sector. The main attraction will be the arrival of Corazul Cruceros, a Spanish cruise line that was only presented to the market in January this year and that will operate in Brazil the inaugural itineraries of its first ship, the Buenavista.

Among the debuts, the arrival of the MSC Virtuosa also stands out, which will become one of the largest vessels to sail in the country. Additionally, Costa Cruises will bring to Brazil for the first time Sea Destinations, an immersive experience program that promises to attract new audiences to the cruise segment.

The upcoming season may represent a recovery for the sector in the country after a slight contraction recorded in the 2025/2026 season. According to the Brazilian Cruise Ship Association (Clia Brasil), the segment faces recovery challenges, and the announced novelties aim precisely to drive growth in the Brazilian cruise market.
