A 22-year-old foreigner was detained by the PSP after causing disturbances during a bus journey between Torres Vedras and Caldas da Rainha. The young man became involved in confrontations with police officers during his detention.
After trying to flee the scene, the immigrant was eventually intercepted by the authorities. During the escape attempt, the individual engaged in a physical fight with three PSP agents who were trying to proceed with his arrest.
The foreigner remained illegally in the country, meaning he did not have legal authorization to be in Portuguese territory. The irregular status of the individual was verified at the time of the police intervention.
