Minister Wellington Dias affirmed that voting for President Lula is defending Brazil's democracy and sovereignty. The statement was made during a political rally held in Teresina, the capital of Piauí.
At the event, Dias highlighted the social advances that the state of Piauí achieved since 2003, the year he was first elected governor. The minister recalled the period as the initial milestone of a series of improvements for the population of Piauí.
