Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, visited this Wednesday the Israeli troops in southern Syria, in a trip that marks his presence in Syrian territory since the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime.

During the visit, Netanyahu declared "absolute control as never before" in vast regions of the Middle East, emphasizing the position of strength achieved by Israel following the recent developments in the region.

The prime minister also reiterated his prediction of an imminent collapse of the Iranian regime, maintaining the discourse line he has adopted regarding Iran.

This visit occurs at a time of profound changes in the geopolitical balance of the Middle East, after the fall of the Syrian government allied with Iran.
