The segment of the debate allowed candidates to circulate around the studio, which enabled physical proximity between them. The atmosphere heated up when Elmano accused Ciro of hiding supposed allies in his campaign, citing former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
Ciro responded by pointing to investigations involving the governor's allies, such as Junior Mano (PSB), Cid Gomes' (PSB) substitute for the Senate, and called Elmano a "liar." The tension escalated amid the exchange of accusations, with the tucano ordering his opponent to "lower the little finger" and the socialist promising that the accusation "will be right in your face."
