TJRJ promotes social action to celebrate National Day of Struggle for Persons with Disabilities

The Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ) will hold a social action on September 23 and 24 to celebrate the National Day of Struggle for Persons with Disabilities, commemorated on September 21. The initiative will run from 10am to 5pm at the Palace of Justice, in downtown Rio de Janeiro.

The event will bring together public and private institutions to offer free services to the population, including medical consultations and specialized legal guidance. The action aims to bring essential services closer to persons with disabilities.

The National Day of Struggle for Persons with Disabilities has been officially celebrated since 2005, when it was included in the national calendar through law No. 11,133/2005. The date aims to promote inclusion and combat ableism, following the principles established in the aforementioned regulation.
