The number of complaints against AIMA has decreased, but the union responsible for the migration sector considers that this reduction does not reflect a real improvement in the service provided by the agency.
According to the union, the decrease in the volume of complaints results from "growing barriers" imposed on users in accessing services, which ultimately discourages the filing of complaints.
These barriers include difficulties in scheduling appointments and obtaining responses to applicants' requests, which causes many users to give up on complaining without the problems being effectively resolved.
