Book analyzes decisions between cost, risk, and technology

oglobo9 September 2026 at 20:37

Rede Líderes will hold on September 25, 2026, at the premises of Grupo OLX in São Paulo, the launch of the book "Finance, Technology and Cybersecurity: How Leaders Decide." The publication features more than 40 coauthors from the fields of finance, technology, and cybersecurity.

The goal of the work is to examine how investment choices, digital security, and business continuity impact costs, operations, data, and suppliers. The starting point is the dialogue among different areas within companies.

According to the text, specialization organized knowledge, defined responsibilities, and gave technical depth to each function, but also created boundaries that problems do not respect. Vitor Magnani, president of Rede Líderes, states that finance, technology, and cybersecurity need to be connected, and that the same decision requires different perspectives, without any single area being solely responsible for cost and risk.
