A woman dies drowned on a flooded street due to storms in Mallorca

A 67-year-old woman, a resident of the Mallorcan town of Felanitx, died this Thursday, apparently by drowning after falling on the ground on a flooded street due to a heavy storm. The Civil Guard opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the death. The intense storm that hit Mallorca this afternoon caused around a hundred incidents, the vast majority being fallen trees and flooding on streets and ground floors.
