The CDS-PP presented a Congratulatory Vote to greet athlete Ivone Silva for winning the title of Junior World Paragliding Champion. The initiative came from deputy Sara Madalena, representing the party in the Legislative Assembly of Madeira.
Ivone Silva is from the parish of Canhas, in the municipality of Ponta do Sol, on the island of Madeira. The sporting achievement that earned the distinction took place in Kruševo, Macedonia.
Deputy Sara Madalena submitted the Congratulatory Vote today to the Madeiran regional parliament, thus publicly recognizing the achievement of the Madeiran athlete at the highest international level in the paragliding sport.
