Dick Advocaat will continue as Curaçao national team coach for another season. The 76-year-old Dutch coach renewed his contract with the Caribbean national team.
Advocaat led Curaçao to the first final stage of a World Cup in the country's history. This achievement represents a historic milestone for the team that had never managed to reach this stage of the competition.
The Curaçao Football Federation decided to keep the Dutch coach at the helm of the national team to continue building on the success achieved. Advocaat, who has coached various teams and national teams throughout his career, will thus complete another season in charge of the national team.
