The Water Rally, organized by CAMI Motorsport, takes place between September 11 and 12, featuring a public event on the previous Thursday, September 10, which includes an autograph session and the symbolic start ceremony. Both events take place at Alameda do Tabulado.
The organization introduced changes to the route for the 2026 edition, taking advantage of the diversity of the Flaviense territory and the Verín region to renew the event. Some sections will be run in the opposite direction to the previous edition.
Jorge Castanheiro, vice-president of CAMI, considers that the changes allow keeping the rally competitive and exploring different possibilities in a region he considers particularly suitable for motorsport, describing it as "fabulous terrain."
The organization official believes the event has the conditions to be "a success," explaining that the rally can be organized in different ways in the coming years, given that the region offers many possibilities for its holding.
