Karate: Isis Matos goes to World Championship in Poland

Isis Rodrigues Matos was called up by the National Karate Federation – Portugal (FNK-P) to represent the National Team at the World Cadet, Junior and U-21 Championship.

The championship is scheduled for October 14 to 18, 2026 and will take place in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

The young athlete trains at the Tuna Musical de Anta facilities and represents Karate Shotokan Vila das Aves (KSVA).

Isis Matos holds the status of number one in the World Karate Federation (WKF) world ranking in the Junior Female Kumite division, in the under 48 kg weight category.
