Rui Moura was the guest on the program "Manhãs da Ana – Hora do Café", where he shared his life journey marked by music and teaching. Born in Malanje, Angola, he arrived in Portugal at the age of 14 and initially joined the Higher Law Course, but after four years decided to follow his musical vocation and entered the Music Academy of Santa Maria da Feira.
Later, he completed the courses in Piano, Composition, and Singing at the Music Conservatory of Porto, beginning his career as a teacher in 1985. Music, however, continued to play a central role in his life.
In the early 1990s, through Paco Bandeira and Nicolau Breyner, Rui Moura began composing soundtracks for television fiction series, including "Vidas de Sal", "Primeiro Amor", and "Filhos do Vento". During the interview, he also spoke about his relationship with Estremoz, a city he fell in love with and considers his true home.
