Insufficient measures worsen the crisis in agriculture, leading APROSERPA to demand urgent responses regarding agricultural diesel. The organization is calling for an end to the carbon tax, a solution for VAT, and clarification on prices higher than those of road diesel. The analysis of DGEG reference prices indicates that the pre-tax component of agricultural diesel is approximately 7.7 cents per liter higher than that of simple road diesel and approximately 6 cents per liter higher than that of complete road diesel. This price difference represents a significant additional cost for farmers, worsening the difficulties already faced by the agricultural sector.
