The Council of Ministers met in Bragança to approve a set of measures related to higher education, science and teachers. During this meeting, the executive initiated the procedures for the creation of the University of Bragança and of the Interior North.

As part of the approved reforms, the Government defined that, starting on the 18th, daily placements of teachers in schools will be guaranteed, addressing needs in teacher recruitment.

In the agricultural sector, the Executive decided to extend until December 31st the extraordinary support of ten cents per liter for agricultural diesel, a measure to support farmers.
