An 11-year-old child fell at the Barja waterfall, known as the Tahiti waterfall, in Peneda Gerês National Park. The incident occurred recently and the child was transported by helicopter to Braga.

The child was taken to a hospital facility in Braga to receive medical care after the fall. No details about the victim's health condition have been released.

The Barja waterfall is one of the most iconic and visited locations in Peneda Gerês National Park, attracting many tourists and visitors throughout the year.
