Review of VRSA's PDM enters public discussion phase

The new Municipal Master Plan (PDM) of Vila Real de Santo António has entered the public discussion phase. This urban planning document defines the main guidelines for the development of the municipality.

The regulation proposes the creation of affordable housing, with the objective of facilitating access to homeownership for local residents. This measure arises in response to housing access difficulties in the region.

The plan also includes the delimitation of new tourist areas, seeking to boost economic activity linked to tourism. At the same time, spaces dedicated to economic activities in the municipal territory are planned.

The PDM revision process aims to update the municipal spatial planning rules, adapting them to the current and future needs of the population and local economy.
