Rafael Afonso, a young man of only 14 years old, native of the Parish of Amonde, in Viana do Castelo, is one of the five finalists of the 2026 edition of the giveaway #MyStage, promoted by Montepio Associação Mutualista. The contest offers the winner the opportunity to take the stage and sing alongside the band Calema.

Rafael had already been a finalist in the previous edition of the same contest, trying to sing with the band DAMA. His trajectory in music and television also includes having been a semi-finalist of The Voice Kids Portugal in 2025, and more recently being part of Trigacheiro's team on RTP's program Dream Team – Equipa de Sonho, where he also reached the grand final.

Rafael's family states that success is the result of hard work and dedication. The parents hope that all the effort can one day turn the dream into reality, and appeal to the public to get to know Rafael and help with their vote.

Voting takes place between September 8 and 22, and can be done via telephone at number 210 734 874. If successful, Rafael will sing with Calema at Campo Pequeno in Lisbon on October 4, or at Coliseu do Porto on October 10, also receiving a prize of one thousand euros applied in a Complementary Savings option from Montepio.
