Anac publishes notice for Brasília Airport auction with R$ 1.2 billion in new investments

oglobo9 September 2026 at 16:26

The National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) published the bidding notice for Brasília Airport this Wednesday, with the auction scheduled for December 17. The structure will be offered together with a block of ten regional terminals.

The notice provides for R$ 1.2 billion in new investments, including the construction of a new international terminal, a parking garage building, and a new access road to the airport.

The new model is the result of a negotiation ratified by the Court of Accounts (TCU), which involved Anac itself, the National Civil Aviation Secretariat (SAC), and the current concessionaire, Inframerica.

The auction is presented as an alternative to the airport's re-bidding.

Portuguese are worried about the economy (and want a home with more storage for "refuge")

According to Ikea's "Life at Home Report 2026" study, 47% of Portuguese point to the economy as their main concern, above family income and health. The home is increasingly seen as a refuge of stability and comfort, but almost everyone feels they need more storage spaces — a cross-cutting complaint both for those with small and large homes. Ikea's response to this need was to lower the prices of organization items. The study also reveals that 35% of Portuguese consider wardrobes the most difficult area to manage at home, 37% waste time looking for objects, and 93% apply sustainability measures at home.
