Ángel Escribano is considering launching EM&E (Escribano Mechanical & Engineering) on the stock market, five months after leaving the chairmanship of Indra. The defense company is controlled by Ángel Escribano together with his brother. This possibility was made public by Escribano himself in an interview with Bloomberg this Wednesday.
The intention to open EM&E's capital comes after the failed merger with Indra, which never came to fruition. Escribano left the leadership of Indra under circumstances that generated controversy.
According to sources from EM&E consulted by EL PERIÓDICO, a stock market listing is one of the options the company is analyzing. The objective would be to finance the international expansion of the company in light of the growth in defense investment throughout Europe.
