A 31-year-old man was arrested in Guimarães after attempting to steal a pair of sunglasses from a store. The assessed value of the sunglasses was about 4 euros, a relatively small amount.

The man allegedly attempted to leave the commercial establishment without paying for the sunglasses. When confronted by the shopkeeper, the suspect pulled out a knife to threaten him.

The authorities were called to the scene and proceeded with the arrest of the individual. The case is now in the hands of the judicial authorities for the appropriate legal proceedings.
