The Lousã Municipal Council approved, at a council meeting, the allocation of 230,150 euros to the sports institutions of the municipality. This financial support is intended for the 2026/2027 sports season and aims to support the holding of regular and one-off activities by local clubs and associations.
The funding also covers expenses related to sports facilities and transport, thus allowing the necessary conditions for the operation of the various sports clubs and associations in the territory to be ensured.
With this measure, the local authority intends to contribute to the sustainability and development of sports practice in the municipality of Lousã, supporting the organizations that promote sport in the region.
