Fans of the South Korean group Stray Kids organized a social action to celebrate the historic participation of the singers at Rock in Rio. The achievement is considered historic because Stray Kids is the first k-pop group to participate as a main act at the festival, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro.
The initiative, called Stay For Hope, is completely independent and was planned by the fan community on social media. The event consists of a charitable picnic with activities and donation to charity, scheduled to take place after the group's show, which performs next Friday (11).
According to the organizers, the action is inspired by the values of empathy, unity, and overcoming present in the songs and messages that Stray Kids transmit to the audience. The fans wanted to return this inspiration through solidarity.
The fans started a donation collection campaign for Casa de Apoio à Criança com Câncer Santa Teresa, an institution located in Rio de Janeiro. The action is a form of tribute from the Stay community to the group, returning through solidarity the inspiration that the singers provide to their followers.
