The 100th edition of the 6DAYS FIM Enduro of Nations will take place between October 12 and 17, 2026 on the Alentejo coast, with the operational centre in Grândola. The event involves a total investment of 1.3 million euros, of which 700 thousand euros correspond to support from Turismo de Portugal. The information was revealed by José Manuel Santos, president of the Alentejo Regional Tourism Promotion Agency, at a meeting with journalists held on September 7.
The competition is expected to bring together around 500 riders from more than 30 countries, covering approximately 1,500 kilometres over the six days. An operational area of around 110,000 square metres will be set up in Grândola, intended for the paddock, parc fermé, technical structures, camping and commercial spaces.
Portugal is hosting the 6DAYS for the fourth time, after previous editions in Coimbra (1999), Figueira da Foz (2009) and Portimão (2019). The choice of Grândola to host the centenary edition was officially announced on October 10, 2025, with the event also extending to the municipalities of Sines and Santiago do Cacém.
The organization counts on the participation of Turismo de Portugal, the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo, and the Portuguese Motorcycling Federation. The event is part of the regional strategy to combat seasonality by bringing a large-scale international event to the Alentejo outside the months of highest beach tourism demand.
