The Argentine Navy carried out a complicated air rescue operation to evacuate a crew member from a Portuguese fishing vessel. The intervention was necessary after the man presented symptoms of a stroke (CVA). The operation was carried out by air, which made the procedure more challenging due to the adverse conditions and the distance from the coast. The crew member was removed from the Portuguese national vessel and transported to receive adequate medical care.
