The University Sports Academic Federation (FADU) presented to the Government and universities a proposal for the creation of a fund dedicated to financing university sports. The proposed amount is 50 euros per student.
The federation argues that this investment is necessary to promote sports practice among students and boost physical activities in higher education institutions.
The proposal was formally presented during a meeting that took place this Wednesday, in which FADU presented the terms of the plan to government entities and university representatives.
The fund would allow supporting sports programs, academic competitions, and infrastructures for university students.
