RTP Notícias9 September 2026 at 13:40

The Health Regulatory Authority applied almost half a million euros in fines during the first half of the year, exceeding 400 thousand euros. This value represents the total of fines applied by July by the entity responsible for inspecting the sector.

The regulatory body published the supervision report of health establishments across the country, a document that details the inspections and actions carried out during this period. The report serves as a balance of the sector's regulatory activity.

In the same document, the Health Regulatory Authority listed a set of measures that must be followed by Local Health Units. These guidelines aim to standardize the performance of these establishments and ensure better practices in the provision of healthcare services.
